ParticlePicker
Particle Picker allows you to pick micrograph particles, either manually or automatically, to be used on 3D reconstruction. It can be used in modes: manual, supervised, review and readonly. Manual mode its the first one used, to pick particles manually. Supervised mode starts by training classifier with particles provided from manual mode; this training can then be used to autopick particles and update classifier with corrected particles. Review mode is used after a fully automatic particle picking is done; allows to edit final particles to be used on reconstruction. Readonly mode allows to access particle picker data without edition enabled.
Particle picker GUI its composed by a main window, a micrograph image window and a particles view. On main frame information for default family of particles is shown. Here color and size for particles are specified. Also micrographs information is displayed on a table (Figure 1).

If micrograph contains different particle views then each view represents a different family. Family edition can be done from the window menu. From here also, particles view can be loaded. This view allows to see particles in detail, move them, and also remove it if necessary (Figure 2).

To improve image quality some filters are provided on the filters menu, and for a more advanced usage ImageJ can be loaded. On micrograph window particles can be added or dragged by using mouse left button. To remove a particle, left button should be combined with Shift key. Mouse scroll + Shift key can be used for zoom in/out and right click for image movement, or Cmd + left click for Mac users (Figure 3).

Once concluded particle picking process, user can extract particles to be used for reconstruction.
