DPTF Alpha Release for Chromium OS

This is the ninth build of the Alpha release for DPTF for Chromium OS (version 8.0.8). Ebuild files will be updated accordingly and submitted to Chromium OS source code tree so that DPTF can be integrated as part of the Chromium OS build.

Changes from the previous release (v8.0.8):

• Added support for UI tuning overrides.
• Added primitive to set depth limit for P/T states and RAPL power limit.
• Modified handling for suspend/resume events for S3.

DPTF Alpha Release for Chromium OS

This is the first build of the Alpha release for DPTF for Chromium OS (version 8.0.1). Ebuild files will be created based on this release and will be submitted to Chromium OS source code tree so that DPTF can eventually be integrated as part of the Chromium OS build.

Changes from the last release (v8.0.0):

• esif_uf has been converted to run as a daemon by default. It has also been renamed to esif_ufd. This daemon will be automatically invoked by Upstart configuration script.
• The compiled binaries/executables/configuration files will be installed to a new file system layout that is more aligned with the Chromium OS.
• Various bug fixes.
