This is the eighth build of the Alpha release for DPTF for Chromium OS (version 8.0.8). Ebuild files will be updated accordingly and submitted to Chromium OS source code tree so that DPTF can be integrated as part of the Chromium OS build.

Changes from the previous release (v8.0.7):

  • Fixed O2 optimization runtime bug:
    #6
  • Fixed Passive Policy algorithm to limit power and performance controls consecutively instead of simultaneously.
  • Added version numbers to match the release version, 8.0.8 in this case.

Please refer to the README file and its section on KNOWN ISSUES for the limitations of this release and the planned fixes for future releases.
