Styling Your Game
The Style Editor gives you deep control over the visual presentation of your final game. All settings are applied globally to the entire project.
To open the editor, click the grid icon in the top-left navigation panel.
The editor is a panel that allows you to configure many aspects of your game's appearance.
-
Layout: This is one of the most important settings. It controls the fundamental layout of text and images. -
Image on Top: A traditional layout with the image above the text.
-
Image on Side: A two-column layout.
-
Panel Bottom/Left/Right: The image becomes a full-screen background, and the text and choices appear in a semi-transparent panel.

-
-
Font: Choose a font family and font size for all text in your game. A selection of Google Fonts is available.
-
Colors: You can customize the color for: - Page Background
- Main Text
- Choice Buttons (and their hover state)
- Button Text

-
Container: This refers to the box that holds your scene's text and choices. You can control its background color, opacity, and padding.
-
Background Music & Volume: Set a global music track that plays throughout the game, and control the default volume levels for music, ambience, and video.
-
Typewriter Effect: Toggle a "typing" animation for the scene text on or off.
Changes you make in the Style Editor are reflected in real-time in the Scene Editor's live preview, allowing you to experiment until you find the perfect look for your story.
