Table View

After loading data, you can view it in the table view. Each view owns its own data manipulation tools. A spreadsheet is provided below the network displaying data from the node CSV file. Searches over all CSV textual entries may be performed. Clicking on the column headers will sort all rows according to that column's data. Currently selected nodes in the network display will be sorted to the top of the spreadsheet. Selecting rows in the spreadsheet will highlight corresponding nodes in the network and geographic displays.

  1. Click the button next to the Settings button. The system displays the MicrobeTrace menu.
  2. Click the Table option. The system displays the table in a new window.

When viewing a table, you can search for a patient, sort the columns displayed, change the display options, navigate through the rows, etc.

Changing Table Display Options

  1. You can change the way data is displayed in a table.
  2. Click at the top left of the table. The system displays the Table Options pop up window.

  1. Change the size of the text displayed in a table, using the options provided. You can choose table options for either nodes, links or clusters using the **Dataset **option

  1. To add or remove columns to display , select fields from the dropdown by checking or unchecking the boxes:

Sorting and filtering Table Data

Data can be sorted by any column using the arrows next to column headings. You can filter by any variable by typing the filter term in the box below the column heading. In the figure below, data is sorted by Degree, and filtered by the Co-infection with Flu column

The Table View has a search field at the top right corner of the view. Please refer to the Search section for detailed instructions.
