ICPC

Every year the ACM club sends students to compete in the ICPC programming competition at a regional contest site (previously UNL).

When

Start of November, the exact date changes every year

How to register

Gather a list of interested students as well as their teams and send that to the coach. They will create an account for everyone. Interested students must check their email for an email from ICPC with instructions on how to complete registration on https://icpc.baylor.edu/. They will need to reset their password and fill in additional information about shirt sizes and contact information.

Money

Student registration costs $25. If a student does not register fast enough, there is a $10 late fee. The university will pay for the registration and travel costs.

Practice Sessions

In the past, we’ve done practice sessions for students interested in doing well in the competition. These should start up at the beginning of the semester, and students should meet weekly to prepare. Currently, our coach is Abby Langner mailto:alangner@unomaha.edu, and she’s phenomenal. Contact her about any questions and to get the ball rolling, if she hasn’t already contacted you first.
