Instructions:
- Download the .7z file, then extract what's in the .7z file, to the
_nds
folder.
What's new?
- DSi mode option has been added! Works with DSi-Enhanced SDK1-4 ROM hacks.
It currently doesn't work with SDK5 DSi-Enhanced/Exclusive games (Pokemon BW 1&2, for example), as they'll white screen when used.
To use this option, please update DSiMenu++ to v6.2.0. - Async prefetch has been removed, as it was causing issues with some games.
v0.11.2
Credits: ahezard, Gericom, Apache Thunder, Robz8, _catcatcat, shutterbug2000, and damianoamatruda.
Instructions:
- Download the .7z file, then extract what's in the .7z file, to the
_nds
folder. - DSiMenu++ needs to be updated to v5.5.0 or later, in order to use one build.
What's new?
- VRAM boost is back! May improve performance a bit more, combined with TWL clock speed.
To enable it, setBOOST_VRAM
in nds-bootstrap's .ini file, to 1. If you want to enable it using DSiMenu++, then update it to v6.0.0. - Minor improvements.
Bug fix
- DSi users: Sometimes when saving, sound would be turned down. This bug has been fixed, where the volume level will not change.
v0.11.1
Credits: ahezard, Gericom, Apache Thunder, Robz8, _catcatcat, shutterbug2000, and damianoamatruda.
Instructions:
- Download the .7z file, then extract what's in the .7z file, to the
_nds
folder. - DSiMenu++ needs to be updated to v5.5.0 or later, in order to use one build.
What's new?
- Later SDK3 games such as Planet Puzzle League are now compatible!
- Pokemon Blaze Black 2 and Volt White 2 now work. (thanks to @piratesephiroth)
- DSi users: Sound too loud or too quiet?
Precise volume control has been added! (since v0.11.0, but not mentioned 'til now)
Hold Select+Up or Select+Down to precisely adjust volume.
Bug fixes
- Most (if not all) games that we're broken in v0.11.0 are now working again!
- You can now fix (most) sound crackles, doubles, and split-second pauses by setting
SOUND_FIX
in the .ini file to 1.
If you want to enable this setting in DSiMenu++, please wait for a new version to be released. - Fixed sound volume being turned down on DSi consoles, if ROM read LED is enabled.
As a result, if ROM read LED is enabled, then precise volume control won't work.
Regressions
- Starting with this version, it will not work with Flipnote Lenny, as with each version of nds-bootstrap released, there's a low chance that it'll work with Flipnote Lenny.
- Due to this version being compiled with a lower libnds version, the filesize has grown about 100-ish KB.
v0.11.0: All-in-one build!
NOTE: This version is not stable, as some games that worked in the previous version, will either not work at all, or not work correctly in this version.

Instructions:
- Download the .7z file, then extract what's in the .7z file, to the
_nds
folder. - DSiMenu++ needs to be updated to v5.5.0 in order to use one build.
What's new?
- All SDKs are now supported in one build!
- Many under-the-hood improvements have been made!
- The build is ~100 KB smaller, so in total you'll free up 500 KB of space!
- The debug logging of the patch process can be enabled directly from the
nds-bootstrap.ini
file.
v0.10.2

What's new?
- More DSi-Enhanced thumb games are working!
- Some SM64DS ROM hacks are working again, such as Mario's Holiday!
- Async prefetching is now an option! You can change this option in DSiMenu++, if some games aren't working with this option set.
Bug fixes
- Most SDK5 games should work on DSi again.
- Most of Anno 1701's graphics are now shown again.
- Sound doubling issue in some games have been fixed.
v0.10.1
What's new?
- Two features that got removed since the cart speed implementation, are returning:
*ROM loading into RAM: Brings slightly faster than cart speeds. ROMs with the size of 24MB (8MB for DSi) or lower, will be loaded into RAM.
ROMs loaded into RAM will also have no sound issues (crackles and/or double sound).
*Async prefetching: Helps streamed video/audio play without issues. - More thumb games are now working, such as Dragon Quest V!
- Earlier SDK5/TWLSDK games (when SDK4 was still used for NTR mode games) now work, such as Classic Word Games, My Healthy Cooking Coach, and Assassin's Creed II: Discovery (that also using thumb)!
