User-defined settings

The settings / gear icon in the top-right corner of the screen allows the user to define a countdown / delay before the timer begins (from the default 0 sec), to define the length of the timer in minutes (from the default 7 min), and/or to toggle on the millisecond indicator (from the default OFF)

Previewing

An additional "preview signals" button is available for extemp and impromptu timers which allow the user to see (and hear, if applicable) the time signals right away without starting the timer. This feature is also great for adjusting the volume before starting impromptu prep!

Hotkey hints

The available hotkeys (SPACE to play and pause, and ENTER to mute) are displayed in the timer control panel to the left of the main time signal box in order to make those abilities clear on every screen.

Timer running indicator

The indicator to the user that the timer is running has been changed from the previous animated sliding box to instead an hourglass that runs out and turns over to start again. This hourglass pauses when the timer is paused, just like the previous indicator.

Legal docs

This update also includes the specified terms of service/use and the privacy policy for LP Timer.

Visual differences

Small formatting changes have been made such as allowing the LP Timer logo in the top-left to stay at the top of the page instead of scrolling with you to avoid it overlaying and interfering with the timer control panel or any text. The footer styling and content have been slightly modified to make reaching important information more accessible.
