Releases: jacobkrol/LP-Timer
v1.5.0
New Settings
If the user enables a start delay in impromptu mode, then a "time begins" verbal signal will indicate when the timer has started and the delay has ended (sometimes called "reading time"). A new hint text was added to all timer pages to remind the user whether a delay is in effect.
Bug Fix
Fixed an issue where, in some cases of using the app for multiple speeches in a row, the signals would fail to fire.
v1.4.0
Chrome for Windows app download: 900 kB
Android app download: 329 kB
New Settings
The user can now hide the hints & hotkeys panel below the button/control panel on each timer type via the settings. The user may also adjust the duration of seconds for which each time signal is given. The default is still 5 seconds, but it may now be anywhere from 1 to 59 seconds (with the signals at 1 min left and onwards only sustaining for a maximum number of seconds until the next arrives, e.g. "30 sec" will still only appear for a maximum of 15 seconds before it is replaced by the "15 sec")
Bug Fix
The preview mode will no longer display time signals for minutes outside the length of timer duration (e.g. a 3-minute timer will no longer include the "5 min" or "4 min" signals in the preview).
v1.3.2
Chrome for Windows app download: 896 kB
Android app download: 329 kB
User-defined settings
The settings / gear icon in the top-right corner of the screen allows the user to define a countdown / delay before the timer begins (from the default 0 sec), to define the length of the timer in minutes (from the default 7 min), and/or to toggle on the millisecond indicator (from the default OFF)
Previewing
An additional "preview signals" button is available for extemp and impromptu timers which allow the user to see (and hear, if applicable) the time signals right away without starting the timer. This feature is also great for adjusting the volume before starting impromptu prep!
Hotkey hints
The available hotkeys (SPACE to play and pause, and ENTER to mute) are displayed in the timer control panel to the left of the main time signal box in order to make those abilities clear on every screen.
Timer running indicator
The indicator to the user that the timer is running has been changed from the previous animated sliding box to instead an hourglass that runs out and turns over to start again. This hourglass pauses when the timer is paused, just like the previous indicator.
Legal docs
This update also includes the specified terms of service/use and the privacy policy for LP Timer.
Visual differences
Small formatting changes have been made such as allowing the LP Timer logo in the top-left to stay at the top of the page instead of scrolling with you to avoid it overlaying and interfering with the timer control panel or any text. The footer styling and content have been slightly modified to make reaching important information more accessible.

Running Animation
A simple box that fills and empties has been added within the time signals box. Feedback read that the status above the box was not where attention was directed. This animation may be altered in future releases. The guide page has also been updated to explain the function of the box.
