What problem does this solve or what need does it fill?

• It isn't easy to understand how the fields on Node effect the UI layout, particularly in composition.
• There are lots of bug reports reporting counterintuitive weirdnesses inherited from CSS that aren't bugs.
• Other bugs go unreported because users assume the bug is CSS being counterintuitive and weird.

What solution would you like?

A testbed example that uses all the different Node fields.
