  • Organizational and management - recognize that we may not or should not move 100% to new structure immediately; should lay out what can be immediate structure and steps to get there
    • SW: suggest considering these two step:
      • What is the final management structure that we want, if not the same as proposed.
      • What is the revised transition plan to get to the final management structure, if not the same as proposed.
  • Suggest reorganizing technical sections to have more complete steps for ActivitySim 1.x, that can not all be ActivitySim 2.x
    • Suggest adding a section on objectives for 1.x and incorporate feedback from agencies on barriers to ActivitySim
    • Not sure ActivitySim 2.x has full clarity on what the plan is
    • May need clarity around what the key difference is between ActivitySim 1.x vs 2.x
      • When question to consider is whether we should move away from Python; that is a 2.x type of shift
    • Concern from agencies that if they adopt 1.x then they will then have a difficult time adopting 2.x later
    • Agencies have barely adopted 1.x, that 2.x should be very much on back-burner and should not worry about fully fleshing out
  • WSP will talk with 1:1 with agencies about barriers to ActivitySim adoption
  • WSP will work toward incorporating feedback and will provide an update on May 15
