This is a project made by Zhaklin Braka. A simple python3 email sender based on user's configuration file.
Clone the repo:
git clone https://github.com/zhaklinn/Email-Sender-py3.git
Make sure you have the following libraries installed:
- smtplib
- ssl
- email
- email.mime.text
- email.mime.multipart
- email.mime.base
- sys
- configparser
- argparse
You can install the libraries automatically by executing:
pip3 install -r requirements.txt
Make sure to change the values on config.ini to your needs. If you don't want to set a value, simply put None.
To run the program, you simply need to execute:
python3 email_sender.py
To run the program with the configuration files:
python3 email_sender.py -d
To add an attachment to the email (Linux):
python3 email_sender.py -f "/path/to/file"
To add an attachment to the email (Windows):
python3 email_sender.py -f "C:\Users\username\path\to\file"
Optionally you can use both -d and -f
