_POSIX_THREAD_SAFE_FUNCTIONS is an option / feature-test macro, so that needs to be relabeled.
These functions all look like they belong to an option group that does not exist yet in Kconfig, namely POSIX_SYSTEM_DATABASE (see Subprofiling Considerations).
This change should be deferred until that Option Group is created, and there is a WIP branch for it at the moment.
