Twitter submissions
We use a simple and lightweight strategy for submissions based on Twitter hashtags.
To submit a syllabus through Twitter, just tweet a link to the file and include "#ospsubmit". Our bot checks Twitter hourly. You will receive a reply tweet as confirmation at that time. If we are unable to download your file or it does not meet the requirements below, the bot will reply with a basic explanation of the problem.
To prevent malicious code from making its way onto our server, Twitter submissions must meet the following requirements.
The file must have one of the following file extensions:
- Microsoft Word (*.doc, *.docx)
- Markdown (*.md)
- Portable Document Format (*.pdf)
- Plain text (*.txt)
- Rich text (*.rtf)
- Hypertext Markup Language (*.html, *.htm)
If your file is in another format, please convert it to one of the above formats before sending your tweet.
Your file cannot exceed 5 MB. If it is larger, please find a way to cut the size down, hopefully without modifying the text. Removing pictures is a good place to start.
