What's New
The focus during this period was on bug fixes for the original mod.
In addition to bug fixes, we also introduced some new features:
- v2.2.1 - Added support for bank service vehicles.
- v2.3.0 - Multi-language support (combined the original version with the CHS version I created in October 2023, ported from AlgernonCommons).
- v2.3.1 - Added support for Toggle It!.
- v2.3.3 - Released the first plugin, Train Display - Updated.
- v2.4.0 - LOD optimization, improvements to the Info Panel, added rocket support.
- v2.4.1 - Shadow distance optimization, added UUI support.
For detailed information, please refer to each version's release notes.
V3 marks another major refactor since the project began in 2015.
We’ve been working hard to provide users with an entirely new experience with the mod since v3.
The demand for bug fixes has significantly increased. We’ve received many complaints and feedback from users regarding the mod, and we may have even lost a small number of users as a result. Without the support, feedback, and companionship of the community, the mod wouldn’t have become stable and refined.
For detailed information, please refer to each version's release notes.
While we continue to focus on fixing issues with v3, there have also been some new features introduced:
- v3.0.1 - Added support for Transport Lines Manager.
- v3.0.4 - Path and track collisions in Free-Camera mode.
- v3.0.9 - Released the second plugin, IOperateIt Revisited.
- v3.1.0 - Added v2 settings import and FPSCamera API (for plugins to detect the main mod’s status).
Starting with v3, we’ve adopted AlgernonCommons as the mod’s framework.
AlgernonCommons is a framework known for its strong stability, practicality, and wide applicability.
A big thank you to its creator, @Algernon-A, for providing such a reliable framework. With AlgernonCommons, we've been able to enhance various aspects of the mod, including but not limited to:
- Overhauled the Main Panel and Options Panel for a better user experience.
- Improved mod conflict detection.
- Enhanced settings file reading and saving.
- Optimized the loading process.
- Added notifications for version updates, mod conflicts, Harmony failures, etc.
- Improved logging.
- Wiki may not be updated frequently and not match the latest version.
- Any text referring to key mappings refers to the default settings. Feel free to adjust these settings in the Options Panel > Key Mappings.
- The naming of mod features, and other related terms, are based on English. If you are using a translator, please pay attention to the difference from in-game text.
