I had previously been working on adding this package and trying to get its tests running. I saw that zen0bit also tried adding it in the past.
I haven’t had the time to review your version in detail, and since I’ve been quite busy lately, I’ll leave the addition of this package in your hands and close my PR: #56980.

It’s great to see new contributors getting involved, nice work taking this forward!
