Welcome to the AI-Powered Fraud & Insights Hackathon! This event is designed to empower participants to tackle fraud detection, financial insights, and automation using Azure AI, Microsoft Fabric, and advanced security solutions.

🚀 Hackathon Challenges & Exercises

01 - Data Ingestion & Microsoft Fabric Setup

Goal: Set up Microsoft Fabric, create a OneLake Lakehouse, and upload transaction data.

  • Create Fabric Capacity in Azure
  • Assign Fabric Capacity to Microsoft Fabric
  • Upload Financial PDFs to OneLake

02 - Document Intelligence & AI Processing

Goal: Automate document processing using Azure AI Services.

  • Create Azure Document Intelligence
  • Extract Text & Data from Financial Documents
  • Store Processed Data in OneLake

03 - Fraud Analysis with AI

Goal: Build AI-driven fraud detection models.

  • Process data with Azure Machine Learning
  • Train models for fraud detection
  • Visualize fraud patterns in Power BI

04 - AI Chatbot with Multi-Agent Capabilities

Goal: Implement a chatbot with AI search and data-driven responses.

  • Deploy a chatbot with OpenAI & Fabric Data
  • Enable multi-agent collaboration
  • Test the chatbot with real financial questions

05 - Security & Compliance with Azure Defender

Goal: Secure cloud environments with Azure Defender for Cloud.

  • Configure security policies in Azure
  • Implement monitoring & anomaly detection
