Experiment | Parallel RL Circuits |
In a parallel RL circuit, the resistor (R) and inductor (L) are connected in parallel across a voltage source. Unlike series RL circuits, the output voltage across each component remains the same as the input voltage. These circuits are mainly analyzed when driven by current sources, as the interaction between the resistive and inductive branches affects the total current and phase relationship.
