Walkthrough

The change updates the initialization of the now variable in the Google Calendar synchronization logic, switching from using UTC time to local time for determining the event query boundaries. No other logic or control flow is modified.

Poem

A bunny with a clock in paw,
Adjusted time from UTC's law.
Now local hours set the scene,
For calendars to stay pristine.
Hopping through events anew—
Time zones right, and right on cue! 🕰️🐇

165-165: Bug fix approved - removes non-imported UTC function.

The change correctly fixes the runtime error by removing the .utc() call, since the UTC plugin is not imported in this file. Without importing and extending dayjs with the UTC plugin, calling .utc() would throw an error.

165-167: Gathering DB schema for workspace_calendar_events:

#!/bin/bash
set -e
# Locate supabase.ts
SUPABASE=$(fd --full-path supabase.ts | grep 'packages/types')
echo "==> File: $SUPABASE"
# Show the Table definition for workspace_calendar_events
sed -n '/workspace_calendar_events/,/};/p' "$SUPABASE"

Summary of Changes

Hello @DennieDan, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request resolves a specific bug within the background synchronization process for Google Calendar events. The core issue was an unimported utc() method from the dayjs library, which could lead to failures during the sync. By removing this call, the PR ensures the sync can proceed without encountering this particular error.

Highlights

  • Bug Fix: Addressed a runtime error in the Google Calendar background synchronization logic where the utc() method was invoked on a dayjs object without the corresponding utc plugin being properly imported. The problematic call to utc() has been removed.

Code Review

The pull request removes the utc() function from the dayjs() call in packages/trigger/google-calendar-sync.ts because it was not imported. This fixes a bug but may have timezone implications that should be verified.
