Exploratory Data Analysis of Movie Database

This repo explores a dataset (test & train), which contains over 10000 movies and a variety of metadata obtained from The Movie Database (TMDB). The analysis was done by r and it aims to answer some specific questions as follows:

  1. Does series do better business? Which are the best series in terms of business?
  2. Can low budget movie be a success? Which are Top 10 Expensive movie but unseccessful? Which are Top 10 low budget successful movie
  3. Are multi-genre or single genre more popular? Which genre attracts more money? What genre produce most movie?
  4. Top movies producing countries and companies? What genre they produce most?
  5. How release time affects the success of the movie?
  6. How other language compare with english? Does being multi-language help?
  7. Why production companies care about tagline and creating homepage?
