Stochastic was founded by AI systems researchers at Harvard University with the vision of creating a future where privately owned, personalized AI is as common and accessible as personal computers. Our mission is to democratize AI by building and owning a competitive alternative in a space currently dominated by Big Tech and a few large companies. We’re developing open-source libraries that empower users to easily train, customize, and control their own large language models—then deploy them with optimized performance.
