The goal is to keep up maintenance of the Slim template language and make it sustainable. Dedicated support is needed to continuously maintain the Ruby gem - for example adapting to new Rails or Ruby versions. I am @minad, one of the main developers and maintainers of the gem. Over the years I've put a lot of dedication and time into Slim. With your help I can set aside maintenance time for the project.

For now the plan is to do the main ground work:

1. Sort through open issues and pull requests,
2. Fix open bugs,
3. Ensure compatibility with recent releases of Ruby and Rails,
4. Create new releases.
