I am a computational linguist and work on free and open source natural language processing tools. The sponsorship will be helpful for me to dedicate more of my time to low-resourced and under-resourced minority and marginalised languages. I build language resources such as dictionaries and annotated texts and the basic NLP products on top of that, such as morphological analysers, spell-checkers, machine translators and so forth.
