Compatible with Arduino 1.0.6 and earlier

This was the last commit before Arduino updated the IDE to 1.6. It's completely functional with any version of Arduino 1.0.x.

Among other things, Arduino 1.6 requires a new directory structure. That structure will be reflected in future pushes to master, so we can't guarantee later commits will be compatible with legacy Arduino IDE versions.
