2.2.2 Update

This update is a complete rewrite. Here's what's exciting and new:

  • uses the mozilla addon SDK for better compatibility going forward
  • comes bundled with Addendum Kadist's new series of visual essays
  • simplifies the process for creating essays for the plugin. it's just JSON now which makes it super easy to create and share shows
  • there are chrome and safari versions now
  • no longer depends on Ad Block Plus

  • On first install, opens add-art.org/settings to help newcomers learn how to use the add-on.

  • Choose between different sources of art from The Brooklyn Museum, Eyebeam, Kadist Foundation, NASA, NO-AD, and Rhizome.
  • Subscribe to shows created by users via a WordPress RSS feed (instructions to come)
