Automatically closes newly opened tabs when the extension is toggled on

Steps to Download and Setup

donwload zip file by clicking code -> download zip
extract zip after download
go to chrome://extensions or the extentions page of your web browser
turn on developer mode
click load unpacked
select the unzipped folder of the auto close extention you just downloaded
Now you can toggle it on or off from the GUI or the hotkeys (provided in the UI)

go to releases
find the release like this (example release v2.1)
- go to tags
- click on tag v2.x
- all release under v2.x will be there
- in this case v2.1 will be found in tag v2.x
