📌 Project Overview

This is a decentralized land record management system that leverages Blockchain, AI, and IPFS to securely store and verify property ownership records. It ensures transparency, immutability, and fraud detection in property transactions.

Users can: ✅ Register land with location & document verification.
Transfer ownership of properties.
Detect fraudulent transactions using AI.
Perform KYC verification for secure operations.
View transaction history for each property.
Admin dashboard for property verification and fraud analysis.

🎯 How to Run the Project

1️⃣ Clone the Repository

git clone https://github.com/yourusername/land-record-management.git
cd land-record-management

2️⃣ Install Dependencies

# Install frontend dependencies
cd frontend
npm install

# Install backend dependencies
cd ../backend
npm install

3️⃣ Set Up Environment Variables

Create .env files for both frontend & backend with:

# MongoDB Connection
MONGODB_URI=your_mongodb_connection_string

# Pinata (IPFS) API Keys
PINATA_API_KEY=your_api_key
PINATA_SECRET_API_KEY=your_secret_api_key

# Google Gemini AI API Key
GEMINI_API_KEY=your_google_ai_key

4️⃣ Deploy Smart Contracts

cd smart-contracts
npx hardhat compile
npx hardhat run scripts/deploy.js --network sepolia

Replace sepolia with your target Ethereum network.

5️⃣ Run Backend

cd backend
npm start

6️⃣ Run Frontend

cd frontend
npm run dev

Open http://localhost:3000 to view the app.

Multi-Signature Verification – Requires multiple admin approvals for transfers.
Auction System – Users can bid on verified properties.
More AI Insights – Advanced fraud detection & ownership legitimacy scoring.
