Welcome to the entrusted wiki!

Overview

Entrusted is a document sanitizer tool that converts potentially malicious files into safe PDFs.

It is originally based on Dangerzone a tool written by Micah Lee, which is now under the umbrella of the Freedom of the Press Foundation.

Supported Documents

The following file types can be processed with Entrusted:

  • Images (.jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png, .tif, .tiff)
  • Document Graphics (.odg)
  • Text Documents (.rtf, .doc, .docx, .odt)
  • Spreadsheets (.xls, .xlsx, .ods)
  • Presentations (.ppt, .pptx, .odp)
  • PDF files (.pdf)
