When SELinux is enabled (either Enforcing or Permissive), we do not expect configuration errors. If an error occurs during SELinux configuration, we now display the output and include a clear error message to help with troubleshooting.
When SELinux is disabled, we assume the user has intentionally disabled it and may have removed essential SELinux packages such as
selinux-policy-targeted
. In this case, instead of displaying cryptic error messages, we simply show a note indicating that SELinux was not configured and that the required packages will need to be reinstalled if the user decides to re-enable SELinux in the future.
