Graduate Research Assistant
- Leading a predator-diet analysis project for Department of Natural Resources as part of the master’s thesis, leveraging DNA metabarcoding to unravel dietary patterns of North American predators in diverse ecosystem.
- Developing an innovative bioinformatics tool to streamline diet-based Next-Generation Sequencing metagenomic studies, enhancing efficiency in prey identification from predator’s fecal samples through optimized genomic approaches.
Graduate Teaching Assistant
- Led the undergraduate course “Biological Sciences Lab I (BIOS 1705)”, guiding over 40 students for hands-on biological experiments.
- Assisted in the designing and grading of exams, lab reports, and assignments, ensuring timely feedback and comprehensive assessment of student performance.
Junior Research Intern
- Participated in laboratory work for ongoing PhD project on Antibiotic Sensitivity Testing of medications commonly used for treating mastitis in cattle in Nepal.
- Involved in conducting DNA extraction and PCR from fecal samples for the diet study of Snow Leopards in Nepal.

- Conducted a native pollinator survey as a part of undergraduate thesis to document pollinator species among residents in Rukum West, Nepal, with aim to facilitate better agricultural practices and conservation efforts.
- Fostered technology adoption among local farmers in the hilly regions of Nepal by training them on mobile applications designed for agricultural use.
