The recommended way to contribute to this project is by using a Dev Container. This approach ensures a consistent development environment and simplifies setup—it’s the same method used by projects like Moby and many others.
To get started:
- Install Visual Studio Code (if you haven’t already).
- Install the “Dev Containers” extension from the VS Code marketplace.
- Open the project folder in VS Code.
- When prompted, click “Reopen in Container”.
VS Code will automatically build the container using the .devcontainer configuration and open a fully functional development environment inside the container.
💡 This setup handles dependencies, tools, and runtime versions out of the box—so you can focus on coding!
