With export control issues behind us, several issues should to be taken care ahead of our first public release.
Due by December 7, 2012•5/5 issues closedNo adjustments are currently made to cross-sections or secondary energy and angle distributions to account for thermal and epithermal binding effects. Most importantly, a S(a,b) treatment is needed for thermal neutron scattering in moderators, and a free-gas treatment is needed for non-moderating materials. It is of interest to note that KAPL employs a special treatment for Hydrogen bound in molecules (short collision time approximation).
No due date•4/4 issues closedWe need to have a working tally system roughly by the beginning of the fall so that Bryan's CMFD work can proceed. Bryan has requested the following types of tallies: Integrated surface current Integrated surface flux Integrated volume flux (with reaction rate options)
