Project Roadmap
Starting from 2024, since our network and products have transitioned to the scaling and improvement stage rather than the development stage, we will update the project roadmap semiannually. The team is committed to adhering to the schedule, but please understand that we also aim to maintain flexibility in our development process.
Yearly Goal: Strengthen market leadership as the premier digital provenance and data marketplace infrastructure, empowering the AI and creator economy.
1. Comprehensive Rebrand Initiative
Numbers Protocol will undergo a comprehensive rebrand to position itself as the leading solution for trustworthy digital content in the generative AI era.
This rebrand will emphasize the following key points:
- Highlight content provenance and verification as essential foundations for trust in an environment increasingly impacted by AI-generated content.
- Establish Numbers Protocol as the preferred platform for developers, startups, and innovators requiring reliable digital content solutions.
- Integrate insights from leading industry standards and reports (e.g., NIST AI 100-4) to align closely with global best practices.
2. Numbers Protocol Website as the Central Hub for Builders
The rebrand initiative will span 16 weeks and cover multiple strategic phases, with a significant focus on making the Numbers Protocol website the central hub for builders, holders, and everyone interested and looking to be involved with Numbers Protocol:
- Conduct initial market research, strategy formulation, and competitor analysis.
- Develop and refine visual identity elements, including logo, typography, and color schemes.
- Undertake a comprehensive website redesign, optimizing user experience and developer interactions.
- Launch a brand story video to clearly communicate Numbers Protocol’s core vision and value proposition.
3. Strengthen Strategic Collaborations
Build strategic partnerships to enhance marketplace capabilities and expand market reach.
- Collaborate with AI companies to integrate advanced analytics and verification tools.
- Work closely with regulatory bodies to advocate and establish provenance standards within AI data markets.
4. Execute the 2025 Open Call Initiative
Launch the global Open Call Initiative, a competition designed to promote and reward authentic, verified digital content.
- Actively encourage worldwide participation by partnering with institutions, particularly in regions where content authenticity is critically important.
- Provide substantial incentives and rewards for creators, empowering them through recognition, financial benefits, and increased exposure.
Review and Update Process
The roadmap will undergo semiannual reviews, with the next update scheduled for July 2025. While the team is committed to adhering to this schedule, we remain flexible and responsive to ongoing developments.

- Strategic Enhancement & Market expansion : Deepen existing market presence in Asia and Europe, and participate in more global conferences, webinars, and panels to promote the importance of provenance.
- Enhance AI Platform Synergies : Utilize the Creative Origin Alliance to promote responsible AI practices, and work with regulatory bodies to advocate for and contribute to the development of AI regulations.
- Strengthen Creativity Industry Partnerships: Establish more partnerships with major art institutions, film and music industries, and content creation platforms.
- Extend NUM Ecosystem & Provenance Verification Services: Expand NUM token utility with new business models, and enhance the Capture Eye service with increased integration in news media.
This roadmap is updated on a semi-yearly basis. The team does our best to follow the schedule, but please understand that we are also responsive to keep the development flexible.
