resolves #4

  • Where possible, replace dead links with live ones
  • When no live alternative was located, remove dead links
  • Add link checking on push, pull request, and cron schedule via GitHub Actions
    • Note: cron schedule will function for free accounts until 60 days of repo inactivity
  • Exclude some links from checking since they require a subscription (or timeout intermittently)
