Ballerina CRUD User Management API

A RESTful CRUD API built using Ballerina and MySQL for managing users.
It supports basic Create, Read, Update, Delete operations, along with search and retrieval by ID.

Prerequisites

• Ballerina 2201.8.0 or later
• MySQL Server installed and running
• MySQL Workbench (optional, for DB UI)
• VS Code with Ballerina plugin

Setup Instructions

1. Clone the project

git clone https://github.com/nimashag/ballerina-user-crud.git
cd ballerina-user-crud

2. Create Config.toml

• Create a Config.toml in the root with your DB credentials:

user = "root"
password = "your_password"
host = "localhost"
port = 3306
database = "user_crud_db"

3. Run the Service
