This adjustment to the
release
workflow will simplify our release process, so that publishing a release on GitHub automatically triggers a new release on PyPI. This eliminates the need to maintain a separaterelease
branch. The workflow was written using this guide.This also ensures that the distribution file we upload to PyPI is compliant with PEP 625.
