Observability Azure

This design addresses the ability for an organization to deploy Azure resources using Cobalt Templates that are pre-configured with observability best practices in mind. Cobalt Templates directed at Azure services rely on Azure Monitoring for observability.

Here is a diagram of how Azure Monitoring is expressed from within Cobalt:

The Cobalt App Insights Module module leverages an Azure Monitor service called application insights.

The Cobalt App Monitoring Module module directly leverages the Azure Monitor for best practices to be referenced out of the box by Cobalt Templates.
