Open Access

This repository contains the slides from the seminar "Open access, open data, open software, open science" delivered by Micaela Matta at King's College London. The seminar has been delivered the first time during Open Access Week 2022; the slide deck is updated each year to include recent developments in the OA and publishing landscape.

Learning Objectives

• Become familiar with different open access publishing models
• Critically evaluate different publishing practices
• Develop awareness of the best practices for sharing results and data, as well as the funding regulations around open access
• Learn about different tools for version control, data sharing and FAIR principles
• Become familiar with the open science/software landscape and its real-world impact
