I developed a knack for building creative, responsive applications after learning to make music through scripting and automation. I'm most comfortable working in React.js, Node.js or Ruby on Rails, and Ableton Live (for musical things).
I'm living in Seattle, WA, and I'm currently looking for full-time or contract work - let's make something together!
I'm open to collaborating on music or sports projects, or any new interesting idea.
Right now I'm working on:
- Building a broader user base, handling bugs & fixing issues, and gathering constructive criticism for my new website Better Bathroom Bureau, a place where people in Seattle can find restrooms, review facilities, and submit bathrooms to the database.
- Consistently improving my Fantasy Sumo website, a React/Rails site where I host my own Fantasy Sumo game. These days I'm refactoring, updating code to consume a new Sumo API, and automating some daily-run SQL queries with a Node.js script.
- Maintaining IceHonky, an NHL Scoreboard app I developed with Alex Naughton.
- Updating the website for the Woodland Theater, a DIY-venue I help run in Seattle 🎶 I'm using APIs from Sanity.io, Behold, and Mailchimp to implement all of my features. Check out the new Woodland website.
- Learning TypeScript, GraphQL, and all things AWS.
