This is a test around the use of Packer with Machinefile to create disk images based on a shared containerfile.
Different branches exist that show how this was used for
- CentOS and EL-based, like AlmaLinux
- Alpine
- Debian netinstall
- Debian cloud and derivates, like Ubuntu
- Fedora
This has been merged into dotfiles and is used in the diskimage build workflow
