One of the greatest manufacturers in human space (in their own opinion) is Fire Corporation. They produce several ships for civilian and military uses. If you were worried about fighting pirates using their ships, you don't have to worry; that's what they do. They will offer you jobs to hunt down pirates who took their ships, or even their outfits.
