As title states, make flag emojis available as flairs. This is useful when using flairs with studies to easily identify the study subject. E.g. Italian flag for Italian opening study.

I'll leave a note: I doubt it will be approved, especially since the goal isn't to add flags to the flairs.
Unless it is limited to specific areas.

Ya I realize the flair logic is shared between users and studies. And users already have flags, so it's a bit redundant. But my main point here is that flags would be useful flairs for studies.

In the code, it should be possible to implement a filter (like Lichess flair) and configure it so it only appears in studies.

Ya that's a possibility. I'll wait to get more feedback before I dive into that.

I'll agree to it, but only if we limit the flag selection to countries that actually have an opening named after them.

The list of openings is available on https://lichess.org/opening/tree and https://github.com/lichess-org/chess-openings. Same data, different presentation.
