- Well that was the catalyst for me to get off my butt and get to work to find a REAL future that will not go away because I lose the abilty to wait tables as if I were forever 20 years old.
- So, I am steadily improving my familiarity with a vast variety of technologies, coding languages, libraries and frameworks.
- While assessing the growing and transforming world of technology and the overall landscape of the web in order that I have a clearer picture daily of where I may prove to be ever more useful in that world.
- I'm currently working for Federal Student Aid as a Tier 1 CSR and seeing the other end (the user end) of salesforce CRM and it is awesome what you can learn from looking at it from a different perspective.
- Now I am going to re-iterate through the Salesforce courses I have completed to see if they make more sense now.
- I am a die-hard MJ (Michael Jordan) fan so getting in work and learning to master my craft is the mentality that I hold onto as a model of how to become great at something.

My most proud accomplishment is The WORD of GOD:"Risen" app that I have created from scratch with create-next-app and added the content, routing and styling of my own and built the database with .json inside of the Next.js framework from scratch as well.
I have put in years on this project and I am continuing to look into ways to improve or even make a new one if that seems feasable or if I learn something that says to me ..."oh we can make it so much easier for our users doing it this way."
I will be re-factoring this project as I go through various new curriculum and make the bible I have with the best practices and more modern styling and routing in order to learn and become better at my craft.
I've had time to reflect on this wonderfully amazing journey that web development can be and should be, but then again sometimes isn't.
What I've learned is that it will be harder to get someone to give you a shot to learn what they need, than it will be for you to learn it.
So, back at it , building websites for friends and clients alike with higher aspirations for a future and a hope for older developers like me,
Who got a late start, are hard at work and already taking their off time to learn new technologies and create beautiful creations with them. π©Ή πΌ
