Description:

  • iPhone devices are reporting:
    "Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 9_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/601.1.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/9.0 Mobile/13B143 Safari/601.1"

when UA is retrieved, so just asking for Safari will do. We don't want the user to open chrome on an iPhone and get sent to the Android PlayStore

Ah, UA sniffs.
You should update the MDN wiki.

There is a note in the existing code:

// Check webview and native smart banner support (iOS 6+).

I take that as a todo?
