🎉 Event Webpage Template

A fully functional event webpage template built using Node.js, Express, and SQL — crafted in my free time. This template is great for hosting events like conferences, meetups, workshops, and more. It includes both frontend and backend functionality to handle event content and user registrations.

🚀 Getting Started

1. Clone the Repository

git clone https://github.com/its-muchiri/event-webpage-template.git
cd event-webpage-template

2. Install Dependencies

npm install

3. Configure the Database

Update the database configuration in config/db.js (or wherever your DB settings are):

const db = mysql.createConnection({
  host: 'localhost',
  user: 'yourUsername',
  password: 'yourPassword',
  database: 'eventdb'
});

Make sure to create the corresponding database and tables. You can include an SQL file like schema.sql to help with setup.

4. Run the App

npm start

Then open your browser and go to http://localhost:3000
