This GNOME extension displays the current username in the top panel, positioned at the far right after the power button.
- Visit the extension's page.
- Ensure the GNOME Shell Integration is installed and enabled.
- Click the switch to enable the extension.
This extension is compatible with GNOME Shell versions 45, 46, 47 and 48.
Clone the repository directly into the GNOME extensions directory

Enable the extension
gnome-extensions enable username-in-topbar@neroteam.com
- If the extension does not appear, restart GNOME Shell:
