This project is focused on visualizing:
- Spherical Harmonics (SH)
- Spin-Weighted Spherical Harmonics (SWSH)
- Gravitational Wave (GW) Modes
This toolkit intends to create a user-friendly environment for visualizing the aforementioned by providing intuitive and detailed representations of various modes and harmonics crucial to gravitational wave astrophysics.
This work has been made possible with the support of ICTS-TIFR, under the Long-Term Visiting Student Program, mentored by:
- Dr. Vaishak Prasad
- Prof. Prayush Kumar
- Prof. Parameswaran Ajith
The toolkit is housed in the visualizationtools
directory. Detailed usage examples and testing scripts can be found in the test
folder.
