💻 Hi! 💻

This is a personal account, a few snippets of small projects and code that hopefully others will find useful.

Areas of technical interest include (in no particular order):

  • Scripting in powershell/bash
  • Enterprise hypervisor systems, Proxmox in particular
  • Linux Operating Systems
  • Windows Chocolatey Package Management (I maintain a number of Community as well as privately hosted packages)
  • Homelab and general System Administration
  • Micro sized computers such as Rasperry Pi and NUC
  • Enterprise server hardware from Dell, Cisco etc
  • Tools to aid Genealogy research

  • pogo-s2-kildare
    Mapping for Pokémon Go using the S2 cell structure. Set to Kildare Ireland, but can be set to any location.
    This allows you to manually plot PokéStops, Gyms and non-Pogo items onto your local area as an alternative
    to IITC and equivalent solutions since the breakaway from Ingress/Niantic to Scopely.
  • go-ssh-copy-id
    Something I felt Windows really lacks is an equivalent of ssh-copy-id which is native in Linux/Unix
  • GenealogyTools
    A few tools to help with processing DNA matches and genealogy, mostly with Gedmatch kits and DNA Painting
  • termux.properties
    A better default termux toolbar. Removes the backspace bell sound which is annoying.
