We should use Haskell Platform libs as much as possible.
What we now try to account for is that you may have symlinks to relative paths. We resolve the relative paths by using the pushd/pwd tricky.

This is needed for Cabal >=2.0. Not sure what to do about <2.0 yet. Tenative fix for gimbo#10

I think this is about smarter shell scripts.
Have been sitting on it and using this for a while
seems to finally solve my/my users' problems.
