My name is Florian Blume and I have a PhD in the field of machine learning/computer vision from TU Berlin. My work was on facial expression recognition (FER) in light of context information, like affective knowledge about a person. I integrated multi-modal contexts to augment FER and align machine processing better with human perception and published works on synthesising context-augmented facial expressions that represent how humans would perceive the emotional display. I'm also the author of the 6D pose annotation tool 6D-PAT and various small Qt3D project implementations.

Besides machine learning I'm interested in computergraphics, OpenGL, Qt3D and some other stuff. I made a tool to annotate 2D images with the 6D pose of 3D models and implemented several things for Qt3D (widget integration, offscreen renderer, gizmo, and some other things).
